Dear Students and Families,
Physical fitness and mindfulness are vital to our health and well-being. Physical activity helps us develop muscular strength, improve cardiovascular functioning, and prevent illness. Mindfulness, the practice of paying attention to the here and now with acceptance and non-judgement, helps us build awareness and self-control, improves executive functioning and attention, and allows us to cope better in stressful situations.
